A crash involving one woman hit six people. This happened in Karachi,

and it has been all over the news. A psychiatrist examined her after the incident and then she was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).

On Monday, she was released by the Karachi City Court after charges of killing two people on Karsaz Road were filed against her as well. The police arrested her and later took physical remand for one day, meaning she had to be held for questioning. The Special Magistrate said she was required to be brought before it again with a certified medical report by Wednesday.

Investigating Officer Amir Altaf requested the court to grant a week's physical remand of alleged suspects keeping in view the sensitivity associated with this case. They also filed an FIR against her on Monday. Tragically, two people died and five had to be hospitalized. Natasha caught by police has car takenCOMMENT: The Case of Natasha and the PoliceImpounded "Car"

Natasha was taken to the JPMC for medical examination by security personnel as her head too had sustained injuries. The investigating officer said she was found to not be in a position at the time to go before the court due to what arrived from a psychiatrist. At JPMC, Dr. Chanilal said she could not be produced before a magistrate in such a condition.

Her lawyer said Natasha had been suffering from mental health problems for five years and was receiving treatment. We keep people like her in special wards, he said and they do not even get to remember things clearly. He said she took off driving, reportedly without anyone's consent.

Judges who were asked about bail in court warned that haven't seen the suspect, explaining they can only make assumptions from reading affidavits. The court, however, said it could not grant them bail as the special magistrate was caught up in other works.

Asked by the court whether her driving license had been removed, police said it had not really. The lawyer clarified that Natasha had a UK driving license, not a Pakistani one. This licensing move brought their technology into the spotlight in Pakistan and excited every person who got wind of this.

There's also surveillance footage of the crash taking place, now available. This video shows a father and daughter on their motorcycle cruising down the road when suddenly, you see them get hit hard by a white car! The car just went off after hitting them! This is something the police are using to accelerate their investigation so they can sign off on this ASAP.

On Monday, a crash near the Pakistan Maritime Museum concerned Natasha and her vehicle rammed into several others. And this, so sadly was the result: it took 26-year-old Amna Arif and her father Imran Arif both; killed! The injured have been shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Amna's real brother, Imtiaz Arif has reported to the police JPMC delivered their already dead bodies to him when he reached there after getting a clue through frequent calls coming from Sahara Campus. He further alleges that Natasha hit their speeding motorcycle from the rear.

But Imtiaz maintains it was Natasha’s recklessness and speed behind the wheel that killed them. What about those criminal charges of Natasha? Erm.. culpable homicide and a valid license have to be contrasted, did she? There will already be negligence with an FIR so ratting her out could be kind of like reciprocity.

Police had, meanwhile, sought details of Natasha and her family's medical history from Imtiaz to test the blood serum and urine samples further.

Natasha's husband also alleges she has been on anti-depressants, which could be crucial in establishing what was behind the crash.

On the face of it, this is a tragic event but what authorities are trying to do now is look at every possible angle that could be found in CCTV footage and collect some kind of evidence as part of their investigative process.

He said that according to an arrangement, Amna and Imran will be kept at Edhi mortuary after postmortem until they are buried after their funeral prayers which would continue till Asr prayer.
